High Frequency Words: and, here, jump, not, too, we.
At Home: Make flash cards with short a words (hat, cap, etc..) and high frequency words.
Math:
We are learning about comparing and ordering numbers.
At Home: Make number cards 1-20. Select three and order them using the vocabulary: greatest, between, least.
Practice basic addition facts with sums of 6, 7, 8, and 9.
Writing:
Mechanics: Starting sentences with capitals, using the word because to expand sentences.
At Home: Add the word because into nightly writing.
